Privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information NTEKX collects through ntekx.com, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: the details you enter in the contact form or send by email or phone, such as your name, email, phone number, company and message. A form enquiry also includes the site or campaign link that first brought you to ntekx.com and the first page you saw, so we know which channels people find us through.
  • When you register for a product demo: your name, email, organisation, and optionally your phone number, role and how you heard about us, plus the site or campaign link that first brought you to ntekx.com. We send you one email confirming your access, and use these details to follow up about the product. Registering sets one cookie that lets this browser back into the demo for 90 days. Anything you do inside the demo stays in your browser and is never sent to us. The demo may load some fonts from Google's font service, which sees your IP address like any website request.
  • When you use the website assistant: the questions you type in the “Ask NTEKX” chat. Common opening questions are answered from our website without any AI. Other questions are sent, together with the earlier messages of the same chat and the address of the page you opened it on, so the answer fits the conversation, only to generate the answer, to our AI provider Anthropic (through our hosting provider, Netlify) or, as a backup, to Cloudflare. Neither uses them to train AI models. We keep the answer to a visitor's first question for up to 30 days, without any details of who asked, so the same question can be answered again without AI. If you rate an answer with thumbs up or down, or the assistant can't answer a question, we keep that one question (and the rating), without any details of who asked, for up to 30 days, so the team can improve the assistant's answers. NTEKX does not otherwise save these conversations. Your chat is kept in your own browser for 24 hours after your last message, so you can pick up where you left off, and “New chat” clears it at any time. If you use the microphone button, your browser turns your speech into text with its own speech service (for example Google in Chrome, or Apple in Safari); the text appears in the message box for you to check and send, and NTEKX never receives the audio. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.
  • When you browse: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. To stop spam and abuse of the forms and the assistant, we also keep a one-way code made from your IP address (and, for demo sign-ups, your email address) with the times of your recent requests; the code can't be turned back into the address and is used for nothing else. We also count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service that keeps its data in the European Union, uses no cookies and collects no personal information: it records the pages viewed, the site or campaign link you came from, your general browser, device type and country, and when someone sends a form, moves an assistant chat into the contact form, marks an assistant answer as helpful or not (only the vote is counted, never the conversation), or clicks a WhatsApp, email, phone or booking link. It cannot identify you, and we do not use analytics cookies.
  • Saved in your own browser: your light or dark theme choice, whether you closed the suggestion to read the site in English or Hindi (the site reads only your browser's language setting for it, and sends nothing), your assistant chat for 24 hours after your last message, your questions from the chat (or the project brief the assistant wrote with you) when you choose “Send this chat to the team” (only until the contact form opens; nothing is sent until you submit it), and, for the current visit only, the link that brought you to the site, so it can be included if you send an enquiry or register for a demo. These stay on your device and are not sent to us unless you submit a form.

If you book a call through our booking page (Cal.com) or message us on WhatsApp, those services handle the details you give them under their own privacy policies, and we receive what you share there so we can reply. The same applies to our pages on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube: our website only links to them, and nothing is shared with those sites unless you open them.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project with you.
  • To give you access to a product demo, confirm it by email and follow up about the product.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.

Where it is stored

Messages from the contact form and demo registrations are delivered to our business email, provided by GoDaddy. If email delivery fails, a submission may be kept for a short time in our hosting provider's server logs so it is not lost. The website is hosted on Netlify, assistant answers are generated by Anthropic or Cloudflare, and visit counts are kept by Umami. These providers may process data outside India under their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages and demo registrations for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of that relationship and any legal record-keeping period. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase the personal information we hold about you, and withdraw consent. Email contact@ntekx.com and we will respond.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
